Tackling the problem of weapons!
St John’s was one of the first local churches to agree to site a weapons amnesty bin on its grounds next to the front door of the church. This bin stands for a change in our society, it stands for peace and its stands for hope. Mike Smith MBE founded the charity, Word 4 Weapons, and we are proud to work with him for peace on our streets, peace in our lives and peace in our hearts.
