We hope you are keeping as well as you can at this difficult time and thank you for all that you do to contribute to our community here at St. John’s Angell Town.
Although we are not able to open for public worship, the church is alive and active, and we are busy sharing the love of Christ in our community as we enjoy our daily morning prayer via WhatsAPP and Sunday reflection via email and twitter. We are also helping to support the vulnerable around us with telephone conversations and visits where it is safe to do so.
However, St. John’s Angell Town needs the church community to give generously so that we can continue to carry on our mission and ministry. We are no longer receiving collections on Sunday nor income from those that use the church building. This means that we will find it difficult to cover our expenses over the next couple of months.
Please can you help us?
- If you normally give your offering in an envelope or by putting cash in the plate, please could you set up a standing order or alternatively drop it off at the vicarage office whenever you pass by.
- If you already give by standing order, please continue as your gifts are essential to our current and future mission and ministry.
- If there is anybody who could increase their regular gift to help us at this time, we would be very grateful.
- We realise that some people will have lost income owing to the Coronavirus crisis and therefore may need to reduce their giving. Please let us know if you would like prayer and practical help.
